In this episode, I go over the short life of the 15th century beauty, Simonetta Vespucci. Having been born in Genoa and moving to Florence after her marriage to Marco Vespucci, she caught the eye of many in Florence including that of some of the most famous painters, like Sandro Botticelli, and poets, and that of Giuliano de Medici who was a part of the famous Medici family.
